For those seeking acupuncture and massage colleges in San Diego, Pacific College’s San Diego campus is located in the city’s Mission Valley District at 7445 Mission Valley Road. The college also has “Annex 1” right next door to the main campus. Mission Valley is well known for its restaurants, shopping centers, and abundance of conveniently located apartments. The city of San Diego has widened and deepened the river that flows through Mission Valley. Walking and bike paths, parks, and other recreational opportunities have been added along the river, making the San Diego River project a serene place to relax between classes.
Pacific’s modern and spacious 38,141-square-foot facilities are situated in nicely landscaped medical and technology parks. The spacious campus offers twelve classrooms, several student lounges and both private and group study areas, a meditation and massage practice room, as well as an extensive library of Oriental medicine (home to a portion of Dr. Ted Kaptchuk’s collection). Visit the San Diego massage school page for more information. For those interested in acupuncture schools in San Diego, they will appreciate this facility’s large professional acupuncture clinic with 30 treatment beds and an herbal dispensary for student training. The College has street parking, easy freeway access, and is minutes from shopping centers, beaches, and affordable housing.

Transportation
Maneuvering within San Diego is relatively easy. Many major city attractions are within walking distance of downtown or just a short bus, taxi or trolley ride away. The trolley’s familiar red cars come and go through downtown along the South Bay waterfront and all the way to the Mexican border as well as east to Mission Valley and Qualcomm Stadium. While much of the city is accessible by public transportation, many residents still prefer the convenience of their own wheels. Therefore, be prepared to search for parking in the more popular areas such as the beaches and the Gaslamp.
